Each heavy bag workout combines the benefits of high-impact training and stress relief. Our authentic boxing classes incorporate skill and technique while keeping every workout fun. The full body workout will increase your endurance, breathing control, and ability to gain mental clarity.

Whichever boxing fitness class you choose, our Watertown clubs will get your heart pumping with a thoughtful progression of warm-up drills, shadowboxing, HIIT exercises, 3-minute rounds on the heavy bag, and strength work.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A KICKBOXING CLASS

Our kickboxing workouts start with mobility drills, simple calisthenics, and shadowboxing before progressing into some HIIT: strength, speed pushes, and plyometrics.

The essence of this boxing workout takes place during the series of 3-minute rounds on the heavy bag. You’ll develop your skills by honing in on the Weekly Kickboxing Focus and supporting Combo of the Day.

You’ll build your fitness level by pushing through speed and power shot burnouts using all your strikes. After each bag round you’ll do an active recovery exercise to keep your heart rate up before the next bell rings. Recovery exercises can include calisthenics, strength, or HIIT.

Your group fitness class will finish up the final minutes with traditional core and strength exercises. These exercises help you target, tone, and define your punching and kicking muscles.
